SCIÒ SCIÒ is inspired by a particularly widespread belief among Italians, who are famous for it across the world: SUPERSTITION. If anyone shows themselves to be a sceptic, remember what Eduardo De Filippo said: “Being superstitious is ignorant but not being superstitious brings bad luck.”

Sciò Sciò Ciucciuè is a Neapolitan traditional character: a hunchbacked man who brings lots of luck. He wears a jacket hanging with amulets of all sorts: horns of various sizes, horseshoes, garlic, ladybirds and four-leaf clovers that provide protection against the evil eye and curses.

Sciò Sciò is a sanitising line for the hands, surfaces and objects. The products combat the proliferation of germs and bacteria thanks to the high alcohol content and the presence of essential oils with antiseptic properties, such as eucalyptus, mint, orange and cypress. Its sanitising effect is also boosted by a number of essential oils featured in its inebriating fragrance — lemon, orange, eucalyptus, mint — and the addition of salt.

PERFUME FEATURES

A pleasant, fresh fragrance with distinctly Mediterranean accents, made with notes characteristic of the Italian peninsula: an olfactory ode to this country. A crisp, pungent top of eucalyptus, lemon and orange plunges into a fresh, aquatic heart of marine notes, salt, peppermint and clove. A clean, enveloping base of oak moss, white musk and cedarwood completes the olfactory palette.

Our formulas

All Sciò Sciò products are based on essential oils with antiseptic properties, such as eucalyptus, mint, orange and cypress. Their sanitising property is boosted by components with an inebriating fragrance — lemon, orange, eucalyptus, peppermint and salt.

The cleanser in this line is primarily plant-based and free from parabens, SLES/SLS and mineral oils. The hand and surface sanitisers fight the proliferation of germs and bacteria due to their high alcohol content that ranges from 72% to 80%. Free from parabens and mineral oils.

Giò Pastori was commissioned to produce the graphics for the “Vizi e Piaceri” collection. Born in 1989 in Milan, where he lives and works, he studied art and design, going on to specialise in illustration. He uses the collage technique, cutting plain paper without following a design and employing the scalpel blade as if it were a pencil. The visual content he creates stands out for its strong formal and chromatic synthesis, which is a characteristic feature of his style. In 2017, Forbes named him one of Europe’s 30 most influential artists under 30.
