The Lame park, through which the River Sesia flows, is a nature reserve that is home to flora and fauna of rare beauty, as well as being an extraordinary water and landscape resource. Its invaluable waters allow one of the most famous and important Italian rice varieties to grow here in abundance: Arborio. The aim of the reserve is to protect the river environments, their fauna and flora: swamps, meanders, bodies of water, woods, gravel and sand create the ideal landscape and habitat for rice monoculture with its extraordinary properties.
RISO BENEFITS
Rice is a generous and fascinating product that has always proved a precious ingredient for our territory, especially in the Vercelli area, where it grows copiously. Arborio rice is low in fat and rich in mineral salts, vitamins A, D, C and B6, calcium, iron and magnesium, as well as being an excellent source of vitamin B. It also contains easily digestible sugars and is gluten-free, while its protein content is much higher than that of other cereals. This plant has extraordinary properties and is used both in the case of dry skin, to provide nourishment and softness thanks to its lipid component, and in the case of oily skin, as the starch absorbs excess sebum and restores the natural balance.

The products in the Riso line are enriched with rice and linseed extracts that have a highly restructuring and balancing action, restoring the skin’s natural balance. The cleanser in this line is primarily plant-based and free from parabens, SLES/SLS and mineral oils. The moisturisers are fluid yet full-bodied emulsions based on shea butter, further enriched with extracts of rice starch, beeswax and ceramide complex, which have a highly restructuring, nourishing and soothing effect. Ideal for dry, mature and sensitive skin. They are free from parabens, mineral oils and dyes.
